Welcome home!

A short biography of me. I was born on 5th February 1978 at Madurai, India. My father was an manager at a private firm and my mother is a retired mathematics lecturer. Ever since I was young, she cultivated and motivated me to study mathematics. I love to solve all math puzzles that I come across. But at high school my interest slowly shifted from pure mathematics which I felt to be highly abtract to physics which I thought is tangible.

I have a lot of interest in electronics. When I was a kid, I fixed television sets, broken calculators and a radio. I used to go through catalogues with facination featuring hi-fi and di-fi systems by famous Japanese manufacturers such as Sony, Panasonic, Hitachi, etc. I continued my passion and extended it more than just a hobby. I scored high grades and chose to study at Regional Engineering College(now National Institute of Technology), Tiruchirapalli, India. There I completed my Batchelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering. I graduated with a masters degree from University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA in 2003.

I have a sister named Kanchana. I am married to Dr.S.M. Kavitha, a homeopathy doctor and we are going to be proud parents to a bundle of joy soon.
